It all started with something I already loved: collecting.

I’ve been a collector for years. Football cards, Pokémon cards, NBA cards, retro games, Hot Wheels — different objects from different worlds, but all connected by the same feeling. For me, collecting has never been simply about owning things. It is about passion, patience, searching, waiting, discovering, and finally finding that one piece you have been looking for.

That is what makes this hobby so special.

Every collector knows that feeling. Sometimes you spend weeks, months, or even years looking for something. And when you finally find it, that object becomes much more than just another item in your collection. You remember where you found it, how long you searched for it, who you were with, what you paid for it, or simply what was happening in your life at that moment.

Every collectible carries a story.

The idea for 4PopIcons started one day when I looked at one of my favorite cards sitting inside a drawer.

I had spent time looking for it. I loved having it in my collection. It meant something to me. But most of the time, I couldn’t even see it.

And I started asking myself a very simple question:

Why do we keep the things we love hidden away?

If something makes us happy, reminds us of a great moment, or represents something we are passionate about, I believe we should be able to see it every day. We should be able to stop for a second, look at it, appreciate it, and remember why we wanted it in the first place.

So I decided to take that card out of the drawer and put it into a frame.

I wanted to give it its own space. Not just store it, but display it. I wanted to walk past it every day and be able to enjoy it in the same way you would enjoy a photograph, a piece of art, or something meaningful from your life.

That first frame changed the way I looked at my collection.

And that is how 4PopIcons was born.

The idea became simple: take the collectibles that mean something to us and create a way to give them the place they deserve.

Because whether it is a Pokémon card, a football card, an NBA collectible, a retro game, or a Hot Wheels car, every object has its own moment in time. Behind many of them there is an experience, a memory, or an anecdote about how we got it.

Sometimes the value of a collectible is not written on a price tag.

Its real value can be the memory attached to it.

At 4PopIcons, that is what I want every piece to represent. Not just an object inside a frame, but a small part of someone’s story. Something that once lived inside a box, drawer, or collection can become something you see, appreciate, and remember every day.

Because collecting is about more than having things.

It is about the stories behind them.

And some of those stories deserve to be on the wall.
